Grace Davis

Mrs. J. Grace Davis, age 79, died early Monday at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lyons, Georgia, and had lived the past 35 years in Bryan County. Prior to moving to Bryan County, Mrs. Davis lived many years in Savannah and was a retired executive assistant from Candler Hospital. She enjoyed being a seamstress and sewed for the public for many years. Mrs. Davis loved her church and her Savior and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Davis.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Davis of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Sandra L. Ethridge of Ellabell, Georgia; one grandson, Charles, and his wife, Kim Ethridge, of Metter, Georgia, and their children, Dawson Raymond and Bella Grace.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6- p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The graveside service and burial will be held Thursday at 10: a.m. in Bulloch Memorial Gardens in Statesboro with Rev. Royce Hendry officiating.
