Geneva was born in Soperton and lived many years in Savannah before moving to Brooklet in 1990. She was a graduate of Commercial High School in Savannah and worked for many years with J. C. Penney before retiring. Geneva was a member of Emit Grove Baptist Church where she was a very active member until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Otis Williams, son, Donald A. Radford, husband, Lawrence Hill, brother, Elton L. Williams and daughter-in-law, Shirley E. Herring.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Radford of South Carolina; sister, Margie Lewis of Brooklet; granddaughters, Brandi Campbell of Bloomingdale and Shannon Harden of Brooklet; grandsons, Paul Thomas and Chris Thomas both of Brooklet; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 17, in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 18 in Emit Grove Baptist Church with the Reverends Tim Huffingham and Danny Smith officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Burial will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 18 in Canoochee Cemetery in Swainsboro.
