Bernice Griffin Miller

Mrs. Miller was a native of Appling County and lived in Savannah for many years before moving to Bulloch County 30 years ago. Bernice was a homemaker and attended Cornerstone Church and loved and lived for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard S. and Beannie Nail Griffin; her husband of 53 years, Arnold Miller, her son, Ronald Larry Griffin and her brothers, Curtis Griffin and Clinton Griffin.

Bernice is survived by two sons, Danny Ray Miller and his wife, Debbie and A. Ray Miller, Jr. and his wife, Brenda all of Pembroke; daughter, Pamela K. Field and her husband, Lamar of Bloomingdale; brother, Clifton Griffin and his wife, Faye of Baxley; daughter-in-law, Faye Griffin of Brooklet; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Julie Stanley Mack officiating. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Griffin’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
