Annie Nell Bowen Brady died on November 29, 2014, after a short illness. She was a native of Bulloch County, and was a charter member of the Pittman Park United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brady lived in Savannah for 50 years and was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church. She graduated from Georgia Teachers College with a BS in Education and did graduate work at Armstrong State. She taught for many years in the school systems in Bulloch County, Chatham County and at Hancock Day School. After retiring from teaching she was co-owner of A Brady Insurance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Remer Logan Brady, Jr; her parents, Moses Jackson Bowen and Mary Isabelle Ellis Bowen; her brothers Bill Bowen, Jack Bowen, and Jimmie Bowen.
She is survived by two sons, Remer L. “Brad” Brady III of Perry; Robert Bowen “Bob” Brady (Lori) of Savannah; and Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Mozingo (Jamie) of Savannah. Four grandchildren, Michael Logan Mozingo, Robert Bowen Brady Jr, Kendal Brady Knight, Sarah Mozingo Garcia. Six great-grandchildren. One brother, Henry Bowen of Washington, Ga.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2014, at 11:00am, at White Bluff United Methodist Church in Savannah.
Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 4-6 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel on Hodgson Memorial Drive.
