William B. Newman

He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Newman (nee O'Neill). He is survived by his eight children: Marie Eldgridge (Dale), William Newman (Jane), Patricia O'Brien (Kevin), James Newman (Eileen), Virginia Moore (Michael), Eileen Carragee (Edward), Theresa Gallino, (Joseph), Michael Newman (Derek).

He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

William was a graduate of St. Peter's Boys High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Upon completion of his military service, he joined his brother in law, Frank Bishop in a retail home milk delivery service, Bishop Dairy.

William was a lifelong devoted parishioner of St. Peter's Church, active for many years in the Holy Name Society. He was also a long time member of Hillside Swim Club and Hillside Seniors.

William enjoyed travel with his late wife and time spent with his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed.
