Vincent J. Caputo

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away suddenly on January 16, 2020. He was born on May 27, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. Vincent is the son of Antoinette and James Caputo. He grew up in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He moved to Staten Island 38 years ago. Vincent earned his Associates degree from Empire State College. He was a Local 3 Electrician for 42 years. He was well respected in his field until he retired 2 weeks ago.

Vincent was known for the love that he had for his family, especially his wife Linda. He often said that he knew, he would marry her on the very first day that they met. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. Anyone who knew him, knew just how dearly he loved his grandchildren. He was so proud to be their grandfather. Before his death, he had hopes of using his retirement to travel with his wife, Linda and to spend more time with his grandsons. It was something that he often spoke about with the biggest smile on his face. Vincent in survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Linda; his son James and his wife Cheryl. His son Joseph and his wife Katie, and two grandsons Joseph and Jace. He is also survived by his mother Antoinette, preceded in death by his father James, and survived by his brother, Salvatore.
