Vasil Ranchinskiy was dedicated to his family and his work. He is a simple and gentle man. He was always positive and because of his perseverance he is leaving a legacy behind that his family can stand on and continue building on. He provided support and comfort to everyone he met in his life, but mostly his family. He worked for FDNY as a welder, a profession he fell into when he was young by simply “trying it out”. He was a natural and after school and many years of practice, he was a master in his trade. By mending fire trucks, he was saving lives in his own way, although he humbly didn’t look at it that way. He loved making art from metal. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter who became the center of his world. He was loved and respected by all, let’s remember and celebrate his life.
