Born Toni Cupo, she was raised in Tompkinsville and attended Curtis High School. She also lived in Mariners Harbor for many years before becoming a resident of the Sts. Cosmas and Damian Adult Home in Mariners Harbor in 2006.
In her leisure time, Mrs. Granberg loved to watch soap operas and participate in activities, such as bowling, with fellow residents at the adult home.
She was a parishioner of St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Dongan Hills.
Her husband of 23 years, Donald, died in 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Jr., Russell and Todd; a daughter, Samantha Sullivan; a sister, Mary Ann Cupo, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
