I'm very saddened  after reading the passing of Steven. He was my older sisters boyfriend back in '79/'80 ish..and I thought the world of him. He had hysterical stories about his job at Archie Jacobson in the mall, and bought me The River album by Bruce for my bdy. He was the older brother I never had. My deepest sympathy, way too young. I had the honor of meeting Steve in bklyn as one of his union representatives.. wonderful guy will be missed . I will forever cherish the moments I worked 230 1030pm and he worked 11pm to 7am and I would be lvg and catching that 1040pm train which Steve would be coming off to start his work day and I would always say tag your it .. 💔😇🙏s.i.p  

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We worked together in New York Telephone for many years. I remember him as a great guy to be around, a good person and a great telephone man. He was one of the guys in the gang that I could depend on to get the job done and done right.  My heart is heavy with the news of his loss. My God keep him close and watch over his family and friends.

My husband and I worked with Steve for many years in The telephone company and we always had just great times working together. He was always such a happy person with such an infectious smile! Our deepest condolences to his family and may God  comfort you all! May he Rest In Peace 

We went to I.S. 51 and Port Richmond High School together, reconnected on Facebook and have had great conversations, laughs etc. I will miss the amazing way you looked at life and the kind words you always seem to have for others. It is rare to have all those qualities, but you did and you shared them.  When I needed a pick me up, all I had to do was re-read your posts or look at your photos. I will miss your late night phones calls while you were at work,  thank you for them, I will cherish them. RIP Steve Perry.

I got to know Steve while at PRHS. I was a year older than Steve but we became friends through baseball and hanging out with mutual friends. We had some fun times at PRHS, Wade Street, and hanging out at the brook. We all went our separate ways after high school but with social media some 40 years later we became friends on facebook and it was great to see he has a beautiful family as he would post how proud he was of them. I loved to read his posts they were sincere, honest , and the truth something he always possessed. Steve you will be missed by all and I am glad I  got the chance to reconnect . Prayers always . 

Steve and I were in home room together at PRHS '77.    We have been friends since 2012 on FB.    He was a man among men in that he never shied away from his true feelings.   His inspirational messages of love and life were something everyone looked forward to with eagerness - I know I did.    I never met anyone who would take so much time out of their day to ensure others have a smile on their faces.

Gods' Will be Done and I hope you are enjoying all the wonders of Heaven Steve.

I haven’t seen Steve in nearly 30 years. I worked with him at the World Trade Center when we worked for the phone company. Steve was a great friend and we had lots of fun with him. He ran the best SuperBowl pools ever. Steve was a guy you never forget. We lost touch years ago but I hope he had a good life. My prayers go out to his two sons and every one who will miss him as he was taken too soon. RIP Steve.
