Sharon Jane Roberto, 63, of Grasmere, S.I., died at Staten Island University Hospital North on March 14, 2017. She was a native Staten Islander and a graduate of New Dorp High School.
Sharon Jane was a bank teller when she met her husband, Rick. She volunteered at St. Mary's School in Rosebank where she helped everyone with a warm heart, winning smile, and helping hand.
In addition to her husband, Sharon Jane is survived by her brothers, Jim, Bill and Tom McCarthy, as well as her daughters, Kathryn and Erin. Visitation will be held at Virginia Funeral Chapel, 1707 Hylan Blvd., S.I., on Friday March 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 at St. Ann's Church, 101 Crowell Ave., S.I.
