Sara Calzaretta

November 1, 1967 - August 7, 2022

Sara was born in Staten Island N.Y. to the late Stanley and Evelyn McCrea on November 1, 1967.

She was raised in Mariners Harbor and attended Port Richmond H.S., St. John's University and

Wagner College. Sara had a professional career as an accountant. Sara's love was for her family and

her two German Shepherds Jax and Bailey. Her personality was a magnet and attracted all

children young and old. She was kind and nurturing and referred to as the "Second Mom" to so many.

Sara enjoyed all the holidays but her favorite was Christmas. She also was involved and did volunteer

work with the Women's Auxiliary at the VFW.

Sara is survived by her husband, Michael Calzaretta Sr., her two children Renee and Michael, her sisters

Keni Stewart and family, Jane Cosgriff and family. She was preceded in death by her brother James McCrea.

Sara was a daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, great aunt and fur mom and loved by all her family

and friends.
