Rosemary A. Maydick

Rosemary A. Kelly Maydick, 86, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born March 1, 1935 on the North Shore of Staten Island. She and her husband, John, relocated to Concord in 1964, where they were parishioners of St. Sylvester’s. Rosemary was a member of The Mothers Guild and a former member of Hillside Swim Club.

Shortly after her marriage, she worked at Ebasco in Manhattan for a year before becoming a full time homemaker. Above all, she loved her family and cherished her time with them. Rosemary was very proud of her Irish heritage - attending the St. Patrick’s Day parade every year followed by her memorable Irish coffee parties.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John (1994), Her parents Joseph and Rosetta Kelly and a brother, Joseph. She is survived by her seven children - Diane Maydick-Youngberg, John Jr. (Jack) and his wife, Janice, Brian and his wife, Karen, Kevin and his wife,Linda, Brendan, Maureen, Shannon Naughton and her husband, Chris.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Erik, Connor and Kieran Youngberg, John, Christina Kenny (Brian), Michael, Christopher (Megan), Matthew, Jason, Sean, Meaghan Hochendoner (Luke), Ryan, Neil, Leslie, Terrence and Maggie Maydick, Declan, Fintan, Kelly and Rory Naughton and four great grandchildren, Emma and Jack Maydick and Annie and Peter Kenny and her loving sister, Rita Brennick.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends will be received on Saturday, June 26th 7-9pm and on Sunday, June 27th at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at
