Mary (Josie) Lore

Josie loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends making everyone laugh with her jokes, songs and dances. She was a true comedian and an amazing cook.

Born, Mary Josephine Dibella, in Manhattan, the second youngest of 9 children, she moved to Staten Island in 1966. She owned and worked in many luncheonettes before settling in at Staten Island University Hospital, South site- retiring after 18 years. She always enjoyed going back to volunteer with her friends and colleagues.

Josie is survived by her daughters;Nancy Bostic(son-in-law Richie)and Lisa Minunni, her son; John Lore and daughter in law Marie, 6 grandchildren: Christina, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Lori Ann, Joanna(Derek) and Michael(Jessica) and 4 great-grandchildren; Emerson, Michael, Harper and Stella, as well as countless extended family and friends.
