Margaret A. Meehan (née Jesinsky), age 91, of Staten Island, New York passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-six years, Henry S. Meehan Jr., in 2003. Born in Brooklyn, New York to Nellie and Louis Jesinsky, she grew up chasing her dreams, and as a young woman, she traveled the world. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked as a fashion editor for Charm Magazine before starting a family with her husband on Staten Island. Whether it was meeting her husband while working on President Eisenhower’s campaign or as a founding member and former president of the South Shore Swimming Club, she became an integral part of every community she was involved with. She brought much joy to the lives of those around her through her outgoing and enthusiastic personality. She will be missed dearly by her two daughters, Carolyn and Barbara, her son-in-law, Peter Simcox, and by her five grandchildren, Peter, Bryan, Claire Simcox, Max, and Joseph Bochichio.
