Born Lynne Lapiedra in Port Richmond, she had lived in Dongan Hills for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Franzreb was a secretary for Goldman Sachs, Manhattan, for five years. Prior to that employment, she had also worked for several banks, brokerage houses and insurance companies in Manhattan.
She was a graduate of Port Richmond High School.
Prior to the death of her husband, George, in 2011, Mrs. Franzreb enjoyed visiting Atlantic City with him. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, and loved her African Grey Parrot, Jojo.
Mrs. Franzreb is survived by her sons, Mark and Scott; her mother, Marilyn Lapiedra, and one granddaughter.
A blessing will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Casey Funeral Home. Arrangements include cremation.
