It Is with deep sadness that we have been informed of the passing of our member Linda Scher on August 3.
She is survived by loving daughters Amy Cintron and Lauren Abelson, son-in-laws Randy Cintron and Ben Abelson, grandchildren Avery Cintron, Addison Cintron, Solomon Abelson and Zeke Abelson, brother Warren Berman, sister-in-law Harriet Berman, nephew Ari Berman and his wife Meredith Blake, niece Ali Berman, and grand-nieces Nora Berman and Tessa Berman. She is also survived by former husband Julian Scher.
A memorial service will be held next Sunday, August 11 at Temple Israel, 315 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10301 at 2:30 PM.
Linda had requested any memorial donations be made in her name to the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia.
May the family of Linda Scher find comfort among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may her memory be for a blessing.
