Sis 
last year was just as bad and lonely as the first year. I so wish we had time to talk one more time before our Lord took you home.I remember everything we spoke about those last days you were at home,and I am so glad I got to spend them with you.  I pray every morning and every night that you are at peace and watch over your Son and his family.I remember when we used to walk every day and all the things we talked about,and yes of course all your words of wisdom did not fall on deaf ears. I am sure you are watching and listening to what is going on down here. Know that you are loved by so many.Please give Diane,Mom and Daddy a hug and kiss for me. Till we meet again sis. I miss you so much sis..I still can't believe you're not here.I constantly think of when we we're young and all our talks at night about our future.

Where do I begin so many memories. You were always there for every occasion every graduation Everything. So many laughs working side by side everyday. I’ll never forget me, you Pete and my moms trips to the track. Going to visit my dad bringing him his favorite cookies. But most of all how you loved my children. You were the person I was able to call in our darkest time. Thank you for being there for CJ. I sit here and smile when you walked in everyday and sit down pull out that water ,vitamins and haha ripe ass banana. Thank you for all the memories I will cherish them always in my heart. First I want to tell you how much you are loved and missed . You never ever missed a holiday or birthday to text me.This year I will miss your text but I will always be thinking of you. We have been through many years as family and you always showed me your love and respect. We shared many good times and many secrets together and some of those made us really laugh.I will miss seeing you at those special breakfast mornings with all the 'cake sisters' . When you all placed your orders. But secretly I enjoyed those mornings as well.

It broke our hearts so much to lose you but you never went alone Aunt Lena because a part of us went with you the day God took you home . Although God broke our hearts for taking you, he proved he only takes the best. I Just want you know how lucky I was and how blessed I've been that you were more than my Aunt and Godmother, you were also my friend. Aunt Lena you were a woman who had always smiled and you can always brighten up my day with your warm words. You were patient, kind and a great listener. You always had good stories to tell and amazing advice to give. You were there for me for the best of times and the worst of times but luckily we had so many more great times together. You meant so much to me. Also my children loved their Aunt Lena so much and you were so special to them. You will always be cherished in our hearts and I am so grateful to have had the time I did with you. You were so loved and I'll always love you.  Until we meet again. 💔 💔 

My Dear Friend,  you have filled all my days with  laughter, or what ever we decided to text almost everyday for the last ten or more years along with the our commune. Sis... Cousin Vincent sent me these beautiful words to console me and i wanted to share them for you.  

Lena has crossed over and she'll never have pain she'll never have sorrow she'll never know the worries of this world. In the prayer to our Blessed mother, called the Hail Holy Queen, St. Bernard  invokes our Blessed Mother praying:   Hail Holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. Today do we cry for the poor banished children of eve,  we send up our sighs morning and weeping in this valley of tears.     

He calls this world, and rightly so, the valley of tears because as long as we are here we will always have sorrow because our true home is the reason why Christ suffered and died on the cross. I believe that with every fiber of my being.

That doesn't make our grief easy it's just that we as St Paul says we are not a people without hope. Christ has risen from the dead and because he has we will also. 

I will love you forever.  You will always be in our hearts and minds.  💔 💔 💔
