On May 28, 2024 Karl-Heinz Geiling passed away. Karl was born in Schwarzenbach, Germany on December 6, 1961. He emigrated to the United States in 1967 with his family settling in Queens then Brooklyn, NY. He was a retiree of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 3.
He is survived by his three children Sabrina Geiling, Karl Erich Geiling and Amanda Geiling, his wife Amy Spencer, stepmother Rosina McGinn, stepsisters Evelyn and Marilyn McGinn, and son in law Patrick Costantino. He was predeceased by his mother Ilse Geiling-Stahl-Block, father Heinrich (Erich) Geiling, brother Thomas Ueberall and sister Karoline Geiling.
He adored his family and pets, his profession as an electrician, music (especially Linkin Park), and his Acura MDX SUV. He was a drummer, had a fabulous singing voice, could play a Ukulele, was a brown belt in karate, loved skiing and archery, and watching car races. He could fix just about anything. He fostered kittens and cats. And he was funny as heck.
He was the kindest, gentlest man and made new friends, even in his waning days.
He will be missed immeasurably by all.
