Judy was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1937 to parents Theodore and Catherine (Suchoski). Judy
graduated from Curtis High School on Staten Island, NY and went on to work as a secretary for
Frank B. Hall in New York City. Judy returned to the workplace after raising her children and
returned to the same employer. She continued employment with Frank B. Hall and successor
firms until her retirement from AON Insurance in 2001. Judy was a survivor of the 9/11 attacks
and a cancer survivor. She was a devoted mother, Nanny, great-grandmother and friend, known
for her kindness, generosity, and the many backyard parties she hosted over the years.
Judy was married to Nicholas Doscher, who predeceased her in 2019. She is survived by her
brother, Theodore Davis, and sister in-law, Alice Davis, of Walton NY, formerly of Staten Island,
NY. She is survived by her four children (Nicholas Jr., Kathryn, John, and Suzanne), and four
daughters/sons in-law (Anne Marie Doscher, Arthur Segalla, Patricia Doscher, and Joseph
Harding). Judy will be forever loved by her 11 grandchildren (Darlene, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Nicholas
III, Laura, John Jr, Danielle, Matthew, Jessica, Melissa, and Drew) and 11 Great-grandchildren
(LJ, Summer, Leanna, Chase, Madison, RJ, Lexie, Livia, Braelyn, Theo, Lilianna).
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 13 from 3-8 pm at Harmon Funeral Home in
Staten Island, NY. The funeral will be held at Holy Family Church, Staten Island, NY at 10:30
am on Thursday, November 14th with burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Please join us in celebrating Judy’s life and legacy. She will be deeply missed, but forever in our
hearts and forever a “Mom” and “Nanny” to all who knew her.
