Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of over 55 years Emelene Helen (Russo)
Loving Daddy to his three daughters Emelene (Kevin Burek), Allison (Gerard Novello), and Gillian (Michael Bonanno). Adored Grandad to Morgan, Emelene, Thomas, Gerard Jr. and Jacqueline. Brother to Robert and George.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph G. Sr, Agnes, sister Jacqueline, and brother Michael.
Joseph was especially proud of his academic achievements that included his MBA from Wagner College. He worked for J.P. Morgan, retiring as a Vice President after 35 years.
Joseph enjoyed vacationing to Italy with his wife Emelene. He could often be found in his kitchen cooking delicious meals for his family. He loved maintaining his garden, which was always filled with beautiful flowers & many birds.
Joseph cherished life and his family. He will be fiercely missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph’s name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
