Tony is survived by his mother, Ana, his wife, Liz, his daughters, Gabby and Tati, and his siblings – older, brother, Tito, older sister, Wanda, younger siblings Rey and Cathy.
Tony was born on December 29, 1964 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. In 1970, his mother and siblings moved to Da Bronx, New York, where he spent his childhood and graduated from Morris High School. In December of 1988, Tony first laid eyes on Liz at a birthday party. She became
the love of his life and on October 17, 1992, they got married, eventually settling down in Staten Island.
On February 17, 2000 and February 16, 2003 respectively, they welcomed two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Tatiana. These three special women were the most important part of his life. He loved his daughters so much they meant the world to him and they created so many
memories together. The bond they all shared was unexplainable - from him and Gabriella having their handshake and singing their favorite songs to each other every night, and Tatiana and him going shopping for outfits for every new upcoming event and taking pictures, and the car rides listening to Spanish music together.
Tony was an amazing and doting husband and father who loved spending every moment with his girls. He comes from a very loving and close-knit family, and it was not a secret that he was mom‘s favorite. Providing her with love and any other things she needed or wanted. Recently,
painting her deck this past Mother’s Day; One of the many acts he lovingly did for her, he will forever live in her heart. He was an avid boxing fan and competed in the New York golden gloves boxing tournament. He was also a diehard Yankee fan, but just loved sports in general.
Tony was simply a kind, generous, caring, thoughtful, and humble person, with a calm personality. He was beloved, not only by his family, coworkers, and acquaintances, but by his “Brook Avenue” crew. They have a memorable history of all coming together and competing in
so many various events - from playing dominoes together, attending the Father’s Day picnic every year, and each Sunday would get on a zoom call with a few of his close friends and catch up.
He was a dedicated and loyal employee who worked for 38 years at the Law firm of Seward and Kissel, LLP.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew him
