Henry J. Brandt

Henry James Brandt, 63- devoted Husband and loving father- passed away peacefully at home in Staten Island, NY on June 8, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Henry, more commonly referred to as Hank, was born on April 11, 1959 in Brooklyn NY until his family moved to Staten Island in 1960, where he lived out his life.

Henry was a proud member of the NYC Department of Sanitation for 28 years until his retirement in 2016. Henry enjoyed bike rides down at the beach, barbecuing in his backyard, entertaining friends and family, listening to his favorite music, and was an avid New York Mets fan.

Henry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Theresa Revello Brandt, his daughter Natalie (Justin Rosen), his son Kyle (Kerri O’Rourke), his Brothers Bobby (Mary) Brandt, Matthew Brandt, his sisters Kelly (Chris) McMillen, Kathleen Brandt (Paula Lichtenberg) and brother-in-Law John Toth. He was an adored uncle to 24 nieces & nephews and a true friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; his mother, Gertrude; and his sister, Susan Toth.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Casey’s Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314. A mass will be offered Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:45am at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314.
