Greg was a funny guy. I will always have fond memories of him when we went to St John's Luthren together 


When I last saw Greg in person, he was 6 or 8 or 10, and I was a teenager. His Mom was a close friend of my mother, and she was instrumental in saving our family from a bad situation. 

While I've kept in touch with Diane over the yearss, it sorrows me that I didn't stay in touch with Greg.  When I knew him, he was the most beautiful little boy with the kindest heart and a hug that helped remove teenage pain and angst. 

From all I've heard, he never lost that ability to give love and to help those in need feel better just through his sheer presence and kindness.

My most heartfelt condolences to those of you who knew him as an adult and better than I. He was a special boy/man and will always hold a piece of my heart.

Our deepest condolences to the Sullivan Family. Julie, our hearts go out to you, the girls, and Diane. You were the best of neighbors and there are no words to express our sadness. Greg will always be in our thoughts and prayers. He was always ready to help with anything, funny, carrying, happy, and full of love for his family. My God bless you during this time and always.

This picture hangs in my locker. Greg gave it to me. Years ago I was dealing with a typical rebelling teenage daughter. I told Greg and he immediately poked fun at it and made me laugh. It is just a picture of a nondescript girl yelling with caption by Greg saying “boo yow” which means “I don’t want to! “   I cherish this picture and it just summarize Greg. He made you laugh. The world is less bright without you.

Met Greg in 93’ and we clicked immediately. His humor was infectious and I’m so glad every memory we have ever had is a happy one. 
I still have the letters he wrote me in college when I moved to Texas. He was absolutely a great dude

Those of us who were lucky enough to know Greg and work with him knew he was the real thing. Genuine, unaffected, bright, quick-witted, mischievous, always on point, and always sincere. One could tell immediately how good a person he was by the way he frequently brought up his wonderful family, of whom he was obviously very proud. Whether it was discussing his plans for cooking a big holiday meal, or how his daughters were excelling in school, it was evident that his family brought him his greatest joy. And that devotion spilled over into his work life, and we at work were all the better for it. Greg also had a great ability to be hilariously funny while at the same time remaining completely focused on whatever case he was scrubbed into; he would give you that John Belushi eyebrow raise and launch into a breathlessly comical narrative about some topic, yet he never missed a beat when it came to keeping the case moving and providing whatever instrument or equipment was needed. Greg, I’m so grateful for having known you these many years, and I am honored to have been your friend. Sweetest rest to you, brother.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Greg was a wonderful friend and a beautiful soul who touched so many lives with his humor, wit and his helpful hand. I will always cherish our work memories. My condolences to the Sullivan family. My time knowing you was short but sweet. Upon first greeting, Greg recognized me from the halls. Bonded over the Sullivan name. I could tell he was a popular guy by his VIP celebrity status as everyone knew him. My favorite memory was the time spent in the garden, getting to see the joy and fun he had with his family. We had our competitive nature in common, I watched as he beat me, a friend, his daughter, and niece in game of Jenga, with his non - dominant hand to add to his bragging rights. When it was time to get back to home, I had the pleasure of walking him out for good-bye  with some of the rest of his team  and friends just in time to celebrate his wife’s birthday.

I was able recently say to Greg:  "Greg, you are a great man, a great father, a great husband and a great nephew".

I didnt know you that well. But you were nice and funny. My heart goes out to your wife,children and family. You will be missed.   May you rest in peace and an angel watching over your family. Rip.                        Sue letizio.  (Cas)

Greg I’ve known you since I’m 16 and we always had a great time with Chris. Three peas in a pod making each other laugh.  You treated me like a little sister. We had great times and growing through adulthood.  We all got married the same time and always were each other’s true friend.  You were always an amazing person and my parents and sister adored you. Always making us laugh.  Never a dry eye in the house from your antics. 

I will forever miss you. You will always be a part of me during my journeys.  I’ll always think of something that your kind of humor warrants and say Greg would of reacted that way or this way.  

I am praying for Julie and your beautiful girls. Your brother and mom as well. 

My memories will always be there and the kindness you have shown the world.  You always were there for anyone who needed you.   May god bless you and keep you in line up there.  Sometimes you need it.  Love you and till we meet again.  I’m sure you will find me and make me laugh.

Cousin Greg…our whole family is devastated by your passing. You were too young and too full of life and good things to come to be taken from us  so soon.

Greg, my heart is broken. You took a part of my heart with you that will never be replaced. You were not only my little brother, you were my first friend.

My deepest condolences to the Sullivan family,  Greg was a valued member of CAS and will be greatly missed.
We shared a love for orthopedic surgery and I will always remember him for his mechanical abilities ( he could fix almost anything and was willing to lend a hand)  his love of his  family, of which he was extremely proud, and his stories of the holiday meals he would plan-in fact I am fortunate enough that he shared his stuffed mushroom recipe with me.
