GEORGE YOU ARE STILL MISSED BY MANY MAY YOU REST IN PEACE

I worked with George at the Holland Tunnel from 1982 - 1992.  Although we went our separate ways, I always have good thoughts about working with George.  We had a lot of crazy times back then, too many to mention, but always got our work done.  George always had your back.  I'll always remember you not only as a co-worker but as a friend.  May you sleep in peace my friend.  Will not forget you.

George you are still missed by many may you rest in peace. 

I've known George for 25 years and met him at work.  I remained friends with him after he retired in 1997.  We both lived alone so we helped each other out in times of need and we had a few laughs along the way.  He never refused a helping hand to anyone that needed it.  He was a kind man with a gentle soul and a heart of gold.  He loved cats and patiently spent 17 years trying to get my cat to warm up to him but she wouldn't budge until about a month before he unexpectedly died, when she  started letting him pet her and I think she knew something was up with him and decided to give him a break.  A master mechanic/craftsman he could repair anything, figure out anything electrical and had great carpentry skills.  He had many friends and our lives just won't be the same without this wonderful man in it.  Rest in peace George.
