Frances Volpe, of Dongan Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 10 at S.I. University Hospital surrounded by her family . Born in Brooklyn , Frances came to Staten Island in 1996 . She worked as a secretary for SIBOR for many years and then worked as a school aide at PS 41 for NYC Department of Education . A world traveler Frances also was a member of the St. Ann's Rosary Society and enjoyed trips to the beach . She is the beloved sister of Nicola ( Helen ) and Carolyn .
The Funeral will be Wednesday Feb. 13 from the Casey Funeral Home 350 Slosson Ave. Castleton Corners with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church , Cromwell Ave. at 11 AM . Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery , Brooklyn . Friends will be received on Tuesday Feb. 12 from 2 PM - 4 PM and 7 PM - 9 PM .
