As the saying goes, "to know her is to love her" which is so true for Aunt Fran. She was the kindest, selfless, most giving person and a true woman of God. I know everyone would agree the best mom, grandma, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, godmom, goddaughter, aunt, niece, neighbor and friend anyone could ask for. She was always there for her family as always made everyone feel loved and you could not help but feel happiness being around her.  She is so dear to so many and we will all have a special place in our hearts to carry her with us each day. I will truly miss visiting, talking & laughing together here but can be comforted knowing she is with God as well as reunited with everyone above. With love, Marissa

I was introduced to Frances (Fran to me) in the fall of 2015 by her son, Christopher. Chris and I knew each other through church.
Fran and I spent many hours together for the next year and a half. 
We would visit, take rides, get her hair and nails done and enjoy the occasional pastry. Fran greeted me each day with a smile and a hug. She was such a bright light and a joy to be around. She loved her family and enjoyed her photo albums and was very proud of her adult sons and their families. She missed her husband and reminisced about him and their marriage along with her job in Manhattan where she had excellent views of passing parades. She told stories of friends and relatives as we made out her Christmas cards. Each person held a special place in her heart. 
After each visit when it was time to say goodbye, she would give me a huge hug, smile and blow kisses. She was a wonderfully warm and sweet person and she made my life better by knowing her. RIP Fran as you are once again with your handsome Dante.

When reflecting upon my memories of Aunt Fran, the best way to summarize all the emotions I feel is to describe the way she made me feel . There was a warmth and a sincerity about her that was unparalleled. 
She had a joy about her , not the joy that the world pretends to offer people , but the joy that comes from God.  This joy enabled her to endure with grace and humor the various trials in her life .
She left me feeling a little better every time  I spoke to her.  Not many people have that gift.  She is one of the few women in my  life that I think of as my hero. 
I will always  remember her as a joyful devout woman. Although we will all miss her I know she is with her God whom she lived so dearly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹


Just found this one. I think it was Aunt Fran’s 80th birthday party. She looks so good❤️

Frances was my Godmother. I was her first Godchild. She was like a big sister to me as I got older and was able to talk to her and confide in her.  She was always there to share every milestone in my life.  
 My husband and my children cherished her as well.  She touched everyone who met her.  What a testimony for a life well lived.
I will miss her.  


Aunt Fran was such a wonderful woman and aunt. I will cherish our memories of all the wonderful Christmas Eves together and all the fun we had. I will always miss her but find comfort knowing she is reunited with everyone now. 

My Aunt Fran was so special, always laughing with us and about herself too. She always took care of everyone so selflessly. After her only sister, my mom, died at a young age, Aunt Fran was always an important presence in our lives.  She was a role model to me of what a women of God, wife, mom, friend should be. She was a faithful women of God. I have so many fond memories of her and will cherish every one of them. It’s difficult to lose her but know she’s is is at peace and full of joy with our Lord and all our loved ones in heaven.  I love you Aunt Fran.

I will always remember  our "Godmother Frances's" smile, laughter, driving  to Sunset Park pool,  introducing us to crepes, exposing us to live orchestras, and that she never missed anyone's birthday, always sending a special card - mine were always addressed "MASTER" Robert Bonomo.

My Mom, is unable to attend, but I know how much she loved your Mom, Chris and John, and that she will continue her loving friendship through prayer to your Mom in heaven.

Dear Mom,

The time has arrived for us to say goodbye to a wonderful soul that was the type of mother who always did right by her sons.  
'Thank you, Thank you, Thank you', as you so often said, mother!  Thank you for the endless generosity you gave to us and our families, always striving to make things easier for us or simply in pursuit of our happiness.  Thank you for all your efforts and devotion that went into to creating a home to bring up two boys that would become two decent men.  And thank you for all the laughs and good stories we had, over wonderful meals—especially the manicotti— and for always giving us your time to listen if we needed it, but never looking for anything in return.  

You would often say, later in life, when frustrated with the ailments of age, 'well I think it’s time for that one-way ticket…'  We would chuckle and laugh and say 'no ticket yet'.  We trust you finally made the trip and you are at peace with all the family and friends that have gone before you.  

May you rest in peace Mom, and know you will be held fondly in our memories for many years to come.
