Sept. 6, 1938 - Oct. 2, 2018
Elizabeth W. "Betty" Kuhn (nee Johnson), 80, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Betty was a lifelong Staten Islander and a graduate of Port Richmond High School. She was a devoted member of the Reformed Church of Staten Island in Port Richmond. A passionate singer in the church choir, she was also a member of the Richmond Choral Society.
An avid reader and traveler, Betty enjoyed her vacation time in Delaware, where she was born, and in Florida, where she escaped the cold Northeast winters.
Betty married the late Carl Kuhn in 1960 and over the next three years became the mother to two sons, Steven and David. Whether working the stand at Little League games for her sons when they were younger or working as a legal secretary later in life, Betty was always involved.
Betty is survived by her sons, Steven and David; daughter-in-law, Liz; and five grandchildren, Alyssa, Laura, Steven, Katherine and David.
A private service and burial will be held in Milford, Del.
