Born in Brooklyn in 1931, Ed was the oldest of seven children - four brothers and three sisters.
After serving in the Air Force during the Korean War, Ed graduated from the NYU School of Commerce. He was a proud father to four daughters, grandfather to eight, and great-grandfather to seven. His many friends served as an extension of his family whom he loved so dearly.
A well-read lover of books and history, Ed enjoyed following the Yankees and Giants, and was always on hand to help with a project around the home or break out into song.
He is predeceased by his brothers George and Walter, and sister Marilyn.
Ed is survived by his loving wife Laraine of 39 years, his sisters Alice (Jerry) and Janet, brother Charles (Rosanna), his daughters Karen, Ellen, Marilyn (Donald) and Denise (Gary), and his grandchildren Andrea, Jennifer, Mireille, David, Lauren, Kyle, Alyssa, and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make a donation to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude.
