Jennie. You arrived on earth as an angel of light. And as an angel you departed to enjoy heavenly glory with God and the angels. Thank you for the joy of meeting you, and enjoying your sweetness and kindness.  I will carry you eternally in my heart.

My first memory of nanny is the day i met her and poppy in florida 1988.  i just started dating michele so we took a trip to to meet them. She was so beautiful and full of love and treated me like a son from the minute we met. That night she put me on an air mattress in the living room.  while sleeping at 3:00 am i smelt a cake being cooked i thought i was dreaming. Nanny was baking her famous angel food cake so we can eat in the morning and we did.  i also had the pleasure of her living in my side apartment for several years. She lived for her family and i will miss her so.  i love you Nanny.                                                 love you Angelo. 

I have many memories of Jenny, who was my dearest life long friend for 91 years. We met when I was only 4 years old.  She was my neighbor and lived across the street from me.  Our mothers were also very close friends.  In short, we were inseparable, and did
everything together, even though there was a 
4 year age difference.   I may have been the
younger one in the relationship, but I was 
more like the big sister.  We had a friendship that was unheard of.  In 91 years, there was never a bad word between us, we were so compatible.  Through the many years, as we grew and married and had children, we always supported each other through good times and bad, and everything in between. 
Whenever her daughter Pat told her I was on the phone, or coming to visit, she would light up like a Christmas tree.  To say I will miss her more than words can say, is an understatement.  Until we meet again in heaven, know that you are in my heart always. 

Dear Jenny.   It was a pleasure meeting you.  You  will be gravely missed.  Your smile lighted up the room.   We had such fun playing BINGO.  and having our own pizza party nite

My memory of Aunt Jennie was always being in awe at how pretty petite kid and sweet she was..I would always catch myself starin g at her when I was little and thinking how pretty she was..and when she and Uncle Phil lived across the street from Port Richmond H,S,..and one particular class I would cut everyday and just sit on their front steps she would see me and call me inside and feed me knowing I was cutting class she never scolded me lol...she actually harbored a fugitive because my Dad would drive by the school all the time and was afraid he would see me...But as sweet as she was she kept me inside talking and eating lol..I loved her so much,,,and so proud to call her GodMother...R.I.P Aunt Jennie you have touched more lives then you could have imagined...Another Beatiful ngel in Heaven....Love Always Nancy

Nanny was and always will be the feeling sweet innocence and pure love.  I’ll always remember visiting her and Great poppy and my grandpa in Florida when I was little. She would always play Uno and card games with us and always check to see if we needed anything. From young I knew she was so special, her presence was so warm and inviting and I knew I just loved being near her. As I got older and nanny moved to Staten Island, I appreciated having her so close. Nanny would love to cook our favorite meals and have tea with me and my mom. 
When I was pregnant with my son, my husband asked her “ what advice to you give us nanny?” And her response was.. “just love them. That’s so important. Just love.” And I’ll always remember that. The most simple answer and what summed her up so well.  Nanny was kind. She was kind to everyone. She always saw the good  in people. I’m so thankful that she got to meet my babies. I know her goodness rubbed off on them. She’s a woman I will always strive to be like. She had the biggest heart and I will carry her in my heart forever.
