Catherine Rombola

Catherine Rombola, 83, passed peacefully in the company of her family on March 18, 2023. Catherine was born April 26,1939 in Brooklyn, NY to Louis and Mary DePrima (Russo). She is survived by her loving and devoted husband since 1961, Joseph, and her daughters, Julie (Anthony) of Ashburn, VA and Marianne of Las Vegas, NV, and four granddaughters, Victoria & Natalie Sabatino and Sydney & Sophia Rombola - Rogers, who she loved very much. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph.

Catherine was a lifelong Brooklyn resident and had many nieces and nephews and many friends. She enjoyed watching films, going to the theatre, reading and traveling. Despite a lifelong battle with severe rheumatoid arthritis, Catherine was always ready to join friends and family, go out on the town and play bingo. She was an active member of the Senior Groups at St Dominic's and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Churches in Brooklyn and many other women's organizations throughout her life.

Catherine was a practicing catholic, celebrating mass and praying the rosary daily. Her life will be celebrated in a Catholic Mass at St. Clare’s Roman Catholic Church.
