Carol Kerr

Carol graduated from Cedar Crest College and taught at various places until she settled on Staten Island where she taught Kindergarten for many years @ PS 48, Targee Street until she retired in 1991, while teaching Carol earned her masters degree at Wagner College then went on to earn thirty credits beyond her Masters.

In retirement Carol was an adventurer, enjoying trips with the YMCA, going to Ireland and Disney World. She also worked on the senior olympics with her long-time friend Marie. She enjoyed her friends at the local senior center where she taught exercise class.

Carol loved animals, children and life!!

Carol is predeceased for many years by her husband Dr. Fred W. Kerr and more recently her son Fred Kerr. She is survived by her two wonderful sons David Kerr and Scott Kerr daughter Pamela and husband Tim, and two grandsons Tim & Patrick Murphy whom she loved dearly. She had a caring and loving aid Lucy! Max was her physical therapist who gave her great care.

Carol had many nieces and nephews.

A mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Friday April 12 at 10:00 am a private Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
