

Lillian C. Bosakowski, 86, of Port Richmond, a lifelong S.I. resident, passed away on April 1, 2016, in S.I. University Hospital. She was born in Concord on July 14, 1929. She graduated from McKee High School and Wilfred Beauty Academy. Lillian worked as a hair stylist and cosmetician for several years. In 1968, she joined New York Telephone. She worked 23 years in the repair department and retired in 1991. After retirement, she volunteered at Clove Lakes Nursing Home for a few years. Lillian was a dedicated parent and had a strong work ethic. On her own after a short marriage, working full time, she successfully raised two sons. She had a great sense of humor and was sharp as a tack. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and dancing. She was the BIGGEST fan of the Jimmy Febb Orchestra, formed by her four brothers, Jim, John, Nick and Joseph Fevelo, and attended their countless performances whenever she could. She loved pets (especially her current dog, Toby), cooking, baking and crossword puzzles. She obtained special solace from regularly attending weekly Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church. Lillian was predeceased by her son, Randolph Bosakowski, and her four brothers, Jim, John, Nick and Joseph Fevelo. She is survived by her son, Robert and one grandson, Joseph Bosakowski. You are welcome to celebrate her life with her family. The wake will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Avenue. Mass is at 11 a.m.on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 1091 Forest Avenue.
