BonnieAnn Mooney

BonnieAnn Mooney, 66, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away on March 1, 2022, in Bay Shore Hospital, Holmdel, NJ. Born on Staten Island, she graduated from Curtis High School and spent her life in Tompkinsville. She relocated to NJ to live with her family after falling ill two years ago. BonnieAnn was a food service worker at Eger Nursing Home and a parishioner at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, entertaining her family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. BonnieAnn is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Mooney; children: Frank Hernandez and Shannon Mooney; and grandchildren, Melanie & Mya Melendez, Ethan & Eli Hernandez and Isla Bella Nunez. She also leaves many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and her best friend Linda Salva. BonnieAnn was predeceased by her parents Mary & Louis Lane Sr.; and siblings Louis Lane Jr., Carolyn Roca and Marylou Lane. Services are being handled by Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Avenue Staten Island, NY 10314; (718) 447-4242. Visitation is on Thursday, March 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral is on Friday, March 4, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
