Born Agatha Scali, she grew up in Brooklyn, where she lived for over 70 years until she moved to Staten Island.
Dedicated homemaker, Ann also held several office positions until she retired at age 82. Her final position, working at her sons' business, was where she became fondly known as “Upper Management”. She was also steadfast volunteer - giving much time to such ministries as the choir, alter angels, and as a Eucharistic minister. Her life was centered around family and all the traditions and treasures that come with a loving home. She found joy in cooking everyone’s favorite meals, baking many treats, hosting Christmas Eve and other holidays, attending many activities and celebrations of her family and extended family, and praying extensively for everyone. She loved to travel, particularly cruises, but also visiting various cities around the USA - her beloved country. She was a pioneer of holistic health, a modern woman, in many ways ahead of her time, but always rooted in traditional values and love of family and friends.
Ann was a parishioner of St. Charles, Oakwood.
Surviving are her children - Anne, Peter, Thomas and Mary, her son and daughters-in-law - Lenny, Rosanne and Barbara, and her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
