Adrienne J. Gitto, 72, beloved mother, wife and grandmother passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, Adrienne was a NYC public school teacher for over 30 years and called Old Town home.
Adrienne and her husband Thomas Gitto were married for over 43 years. He passed away just three days after his wife on Jan. 9, 2019. Adrienne was a loving mother to her daughter, Lauren and her husband, David LaValle and grandmother to Charles and Benjamin. She was a cherished sister to the late Edward Virzi.
Visitation for both Adrienne and her husband, Thomas will be Friday, Jan. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan.12, at Casey Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery
