Paul Edward Featherstone

A native of Union County, he was the son of the late Charles Ervin and Willie Sipe Featherstone.

Mr. Featherstone was a member of Westview Presbyterian Church in Mount Holly for 53 years and had been elected by the congregation Elder Emeritus. He retired from Crescent Resources, a division of Duke Power Company.

He is survived by his wife, Gypsy Berryhill Featherstone of Alexis; daughters, Karen Burchill and husband Jim of Stanley, Cindy Luttrell and husband Ed of Charlotte; son, Todd Featherstone and wife Lora of Maiden; brother, Ernest Featherstone and wife Joyce of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Nicole Cheshire and husband JR, Brooke Featherstone, Corey Luttrell and Hunter Featherstone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Colleen Featherstone.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Westview Presbyterian Church in Mount Holly with Pastor Jeff Bost officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the church Fellowship hall prior to the service.
