Mrs. Lillie (Murchison) Baldwin

Mrs. Lillie Margarite Murchison Baldwin, 97, of Mt. Holly, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Peak Resources in Cherryville, North Carolina. She was born April 25, 1926 in Norman, North Carolina to the late Walter Murchison and Beaulah Thomas Murchison. Mrs. Baldwin was a devout member of Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Baldwin.

Living on in her memory are her children, Robert Keith Baldwin, Danny Ray Baldwin (Peggy) and Janet Myers (Terry); three grandchildren, Robert Keith Baldwin, Jr (Carrie), Crystal B. Reese (Derek) and Julie Margarite Baldwin; five great-grandchildren Peyton Painter (Tyler), Riley Baldwin, Emma Davis (Rylee), Autumn Reese and Devin Baldwin; and three great-great-grandchildren, Charlee Davis, Tate Davis, Kambell Baldwin with a Painter baby boy on the way.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Victory Hill Baptist Church, 2300 Philadelphia Church Road, Dallas, NC. A funeral service celebrating Lillie’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Victory Hill Baptist with Reverends Brian Correll and Bret Wiley officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1462 Armstrong Ford Road, Belmont, North Carolina.
