Judy Walters Hester

Judy Walters Hester, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, went to be with the Lord at the age of 81. She was the loving wife of Cebron Hester Sr. for 62 years and devoted mother to Mark Hester, Julie Hester Parker (Gary) and Cebron Hester Jr. Judy was a proud grandmother to Tiffany McManus (Mike), Justin Black (Lauren), and Brooke Parker, as well as great-grandmother to Kaylynn, Ellie-Kate and Sadie.

She is also survived by her siblings, Cathy Walters Crosby and Joey Walters. Judy will be remembered for her faith, love of outdoors, and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Vivon Walters and Catherine Noles Walters. in addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her son, Mark Hester and brother, Butch Walters.

A visitation for Judy will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Carothers Funeral Home, 412 South Main Street, Stanley, NC 281642015. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. The committal service will immediately follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
