Iola Mae Bumgardner Johnson, 87, of Belmont, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Peak Resources of Cherryville. She was a native of Gaston County and was the daughter of the late John and Bessie McGinnis Bumgardner.
She was the widow of John Edward Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Carothers Funeral Home, Stanley with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Gardens.
