A native Belton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Pearl Looney.
She is survived by her children, Loretta Bradley of Dallas, Virginia Mooneyham and husband, Raymond of Dallas, Vinson McElhannon, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Concord; sister, Helen Redd of Honea Path, SC; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Stalcup, Seth Stalcup; and sister, Mattie Smith.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Hillcrest Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley.
