Amanda Faye "Mandy" Massie

Celebrating Christmas with Jesus and all the Angels is the greatest gift one could ask for... Amanda Faye Massie "Mandy" is with her Lord and Savior. Mandy passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at 3:51 AM at the age of 54 with her loving family by her side at her residence. Mandy was a free spirit, she lived life to the fullest and knowing no fear. She was always surrounded by Angels and she brought joy to everyone's life that she touched.

Mandy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Kirby and Nellie Davis and her maternal great grandparents; Jessie and Lina Davis; one aunt: Jeanette Goff; two uncles: Don Davis and Roy Davis.

Those left behind to cherish her beautiful memories are her parents: Janice Davis Jackson and William Jackson of Stanley, North Carolina; two sisters and brother in law: Amelia and David Mauney of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Janie Marie Vaughn of Mount Holly, North Carolina; one brother and sister in law: J.C. and Tracie Massie of Stanley, North Carolina; one niece and two nephews also survive.

A celebration of life ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, December 26, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel of Stanley with Chaplain Greg Qualls to deliver words of comfort to Mandy’s family and friends. Active pallbearers are Randy Haas, Chad Alwran, Greg Sarratt, Ken Dellinger, Ray Davis and Doug Hook.

Graveside and committal will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in the Garden of Cherry, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mount Holly, North Carolina 28120.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM prior to the ceremony.

The family would like to thank Paula Robb of Gaston Hospice and staff for their love and care given to Mandy.
