Richard R. F. Conseur, 71, of Stamford, CT passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was born to the late Raymond and Anne Conseur in Philadelphia, PA. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Carmen; son, Damian; daughter, Claudine and her husband, James; grandchildren, Jimmy and Catherine; brothers, Allan and Raymond; and sister, Isis. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many more good friends. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brothers, Ned and Paul; and his sister, Jeanne. Richard graduated from Abraham Lincoln High school and Penn State University. He was a Captain in the United States Army. For the past 25 years, Richard was a Ballroom Dance Instructor, and owner of Dick Conseur's Ballroom Dance Studio. He touched the hearts and lives of his students through his teaching. He will be missed. He was a professional musician, and instructor of drums and percussion. Prior to his career in dancing, he worked in the food service industry as Vice President of The Rego Corporation, THC Systems, ARA Services, and the Campbell Soup Company. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 25th at Saint Leo Catholic Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Stamford Hospital, St. Camillus Health Center, and Life Choice Hospice for their compassion and care.
