Born in Enfield, St. Mary, Jamaica, she was the daughter of Stanley Williams and Teresa Giscombe Williams. She attended School at St. Mary Primary and Wall Grove High School in Kingston, Jamaica. She migrated to the US in 1970 and lived in Stamford, CT for over 54 years. She was employed at Capitol Records for roughly 9 years as a Machine Operator; thereafter she was employed at Smith House Nursing Home, in Stamford, for 27 years and Stamford Hospital for over 15 years as a Nurse’s Aide. After leaving government employment, she would go on to work privately as a Nurse’s Aide for several years until February 2022.
She enjoyed Traveling the World, Gardening, Dancing and Real Estate. She was an avid collector of antiques and would occasionally attend Estate Sales throughout Connecticut.
She will be remembered for her passion of all things Gardening, her lovely smile and outgoing personality. When it came to financial freedom, she loved to help others gain an understanding of Real Estate, by providing guidance to all who would listen.
She is survived by her children Paul, Elizabeth and Shawn, grandchildren Amanda, Caitlyn, Cairo and Amelia, her dearest Cousin Gloria, and a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her Mother, Theresa Giscombe Williams and her Father, Stanley Williams.
Friends are invited to calling hours Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10:00am, located at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1231 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT 06902. The Funeral Service will be held thereafter at 11:00am. A live stream of the Funeral Service will also be available on St. Andrew’s Facebook page.
