Patricia Calandrelli

PATRICIA CALANDRELLI , 86, of Stamford, CT passed away on Sunday January 23, 2011 at the William & Sally Tandet Center. She is survived by her son Joseph Calandrelli and his wife Beth of Stamford, and her daughter Sandra Calandrelli Hepp and her husband Robert of Milton, VT. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lisa and Dan Miroballi, Erica Hepp, Joseph P. Calandrelli, Megan and Ben Hovis, and Kristen Calandrelli, and greatgrandson Andrew Miroballi, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Papagno, and sisters Jean Iannacone, Michelina Falcone, Marie Palumbo, and Josephine Vogel. Pat was born September 1, 1924 to Dominic and Marie Papagno of Norwalk. She attended Norwalk public schools, and raised her family in Stamford. Over the years she worked at several jobs, the last of which was as a payroll clerk for the City of Stamford before retiring from the City in 1990. Pat was a dedicated, active member of the community and received recognition for her volunteer work for Cerebral Palsy and the Stamford Senior Center. She was an avid card player and especially enjoyed social functions with her friends and family. Pat was never happier than when spending time with her children, her children's friends, and her grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 28th at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, 23 Half Mile Road Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery Richards Avenue Norwalk. Friends may call Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street Stamford, CT 06905. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Pat's name to a charity of one's choice.
