Mary Loretta Valentine passed away on September 19th, 2012 at the age of 88. Born on November 5th, 1923 in Stamford, CT to Michael and Valleverdina (Boticelli) Bonis she was a loving wife, mother and adored grandmother.
She will be remembered for her compassion not only to people but to animals as well. She had an especially soft spot for cats and would take in any that needed a home and a meal and could always be found feeding the birds and squirrels. She was a vegetarian and was always concerned with living a life that would do the least harm and most good.
She was a selfless, kind, patient woman and was always willing to help anyone in need. Caring for her parents when they were aging as well as her husband who developed alzheimers in later years and caring for all of her grandchildren.
An angel in life and now a guardian angel to all who loved her.
