EDDIE PELUSO, "POP", 92, LONG TIME RESIDENT OF STAMFORD PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND, 2019. HE WAS BORN JANUARY 16, 1927 IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE CATHERINE SCHELLING AND LOUIS EDWARD PELUSO, SR. HE WAS PREDECEASED BY THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, HIS WIFE OF 51 YEARS, DOROTHY CARD PELUSO AS WELL AS HIS TWO BROTHERS, ALBERT AND JOSEPH PELUSO.
ED IS SURVIVED BY HIS TWO LOVING DAUGHTERS, NANCY LEE PELUSO AND HER HUSBAND WILLIAM LANGBEIN OF BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA AND JOYCE PELUSO OF STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT.
HE ALSO LEAVES BEHIND THREE GRANDCHILDREN, CHRISTINE DECOTEAU AND HER HUSBAND JOSEPH DECOTEAU, FRANCIS LANGBEIN AND HIS WIFE ONNIE DO LANGBEIN, CLAYTON LANGBEIN AND HIS GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER PAIGE DECOTEAU.
ED PROUDLY SERVED IN THE U.S. NAVY FROM 3/12/45 - 8/4/46 AFTER GRADUATING FROM BRIDGEPORT'S CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL. HE COMPLETED HIS STUDIES IN PSYCHOLOGY AT MARIETTA COLLEGE IN OHIO EARNING HIS BACHELORS DEGREE IN 3 YEARS. HIS LIFETIME CAREER WAS AS A SALESMAN, SPANNING OVER 60 YEARS.
ED'S SPECIAL GIFT IN LIFE WAS HIS LIGHT HEARTED HUMOR THAT HE SHARED EASILY AND OFTEN WITH OTHERS. HIS CHARISMA WAS A GIVEN TO LONGTIME FRIENDS AND QUICKLY EVIDENT TO NEW AQUAINTANCES. LAUGHTER USUALLY SURROUNDED HIM, THE PROVERBIAL LIFE OF THE PARTY.
HE WAS THE PERFECT FATHER, GRAND FATHER, UNCLE AND FRIEND. HE WAS LOVED BY MANY THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE AND WILL BE MISSED BY ALL.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND A CELEBRATION OF ED'S LIFE AT THE LEO P GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 2900 SUMMER STREET, STAMFORD ON SATURDAY, JULY 27TH FROM 9:00AM - 11:00AM. WORDS OF REMEMBRANCE WILL BE SHARED AT 9:30AM. FOLLOWING HIS CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE A MILITARY HONORS BURIAL AT SPRING GROVE CEMETARY, 41 HECKER AVE, DARIEN, CT.
