Lewis Barry Weintraub passed away on May 25, 2018 in Boynton Beach, FL after a brief illness. Formerly a long-time resident of Bridgeport, CT and, before that, a long-time resident of Stamford, CT, Lewis is survived by his father Emanuel Weintraub of Los Angeles, his mother and step-father Genevieve and Murray Weingrad of Stamford, two sisters Jan Weingrad Smith and Deborah A. Weingrad of Norwalk, a step-sister Jill Schulman of Los Angeles and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lewis was predeceased by two sisters -- Nancy Leferman of Stamford and Linda Stark of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Prior to his death and for more than forty years Mr. Weintraub worked in the market research industry. Funeral services will be at Temple Sinai in Stamford at 2:00PM on Thursday followed by Interment at Beth-El Cemetery. Shiva will be observed on Thursday evening at The Buckingham Community Room, 143 Hoyt Street, Stamford.
