Josephine Mary Miller

We lay to rest our beloved Josephine Mary Miller, our loving and devoted daughter, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched. She passed on December 29, 2019 at age 63 due to her battle with cancer.

She transcended to the next life sleeping peacefully at her residence in Stamford, CT with her love Frederick Morris by her side.

Josephine was born in Stamford, CT, to the late Rose Ann Donald Miller and Harold Miller. She attended and graduated from Stamford High School and obtained her bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She found her career as a sales tax accountant for General Electric , where she worked for over 35 years and retired in 2016. Through her community, career and life journey, she met wonderful friends that would become like family. She loved to sip a glass of Carlo Rossi wine, travel the Carribean on a cruise, and help those in need any way she can. She is a god-fearing woman that is a member of Wilson Memorial C.O.G.I.C. for many years and was an active member in her community at Renaissance Co-ops.

Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her nieces and nephews strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her father Harold Miller, brother Harold D. Miller, partner, Frederick Morris, Nephews, Te Miller, Maurice Goodrun, and Lamont Miller. and a host of nephews and nieces that she loved so much. .

Predeceased by her mother, Rose Ann Donald, her sisters, Barbara Miller-Chisholm and Audrey Fung, and her brother, George Donald.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 7th 2020 at 10:00am
