Joanne Berg

June 12, 1950 - July 28, 2017

Joanne Berg, born Joanne Theresa Bifulci on June 12, 1950 in Bronx, NY. After a long, hard fought battle with cancer she passed away on Friday July 28 surrounded by her loving family. Joanne grew up in the Bronx, NY and attended St. John’s University in Queens, NY. While in college she met her husband Howie whom she married in1974. Soon after, they moved to Stamford, CT and had two children, Alyson and Michael. Joanne spent her working career at Con Edison and later at the Stamford Board of Education. Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Howie to whom she was married for 43 years. She is also survived by her daughter, Alyson Schroeder, son-in-law Todd Schroeder, grandchildren Jordyn and Alexis, son Michael Berg, daughter-in-law Samantha Berg, brother Daniel Bifulci and sister-in-law Stephanie Bifulci as well as many other loving friends and family.

Calling hours will be at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. in Stamford, CT on Sunday July30 from 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. followed immediately by a service.
