JOAN CHIELLO Joan Chiello died on October 25, 2014 at the Greenwich Woods Health Care Center after a brief illness. Joan was active in the Greenwich Woods community with a focus on her lifelong love of music. She discovered her talent for art late in life. Her paintings were displayed at the Greenwich Woods facility. She was born on April 20, 1933 in Stamford, CT, the daughter of Helen and William Chiello. Joan is survived by her sister, Carmella Kosinski of Stamford and a brother, Anthony, of Phoenix, AZ. Joan was pre-deceased by her parents, her sisters Mary and Anne, her brothers Angelo, Michael and William, and nephews Jason and Raymond. She is survived by several nieces and nephews in Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida and Arizona. A mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Maurice Church in Stamford Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
